Iskindar Mirza is well oriented on watercolour and through his brush he portrays the nature and daily life of people. He also depicts the traditional transport of old Dhaka the horse cart (two-wheeled horse-drawn vehicle) which is dissolving day by day because of urbanization. His series ‘Horse of Old Dhaka’ is a remarkable attempt as a young artist. He has used ‘wash technique’ because “the wash technique in watercolour is more illusionary”. Total 29 artworks are displaying on this exhibition
Iskindar Mirza has recently completed his M.F.A on Oriental Art from the department of Oriental Art, Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka. It is mentionable that Iskandar Mirza participated in a lot of group exhibitions and workshops.
